THE FAIRY EXALTS

She stands on her toes-

Stretches her wings way above her head-

Lifts her chin-

And screams-

To the mountains, forests-

the oceans and streams-

THE FAIRY EXALTS!

The fear she should feel-

from exposure-

becomes power-

becomes closure-

THE FAIRY EXALTS!!

She sings her praises-

with all of her might-

to the universe, to life-

to all, in and out of sight-

THE FAIRY EXALTS!!

Her weakness-

becomes her strength-

Her dreams at arms length-

Spinning in joy-

Skipping between trees-

Jumping up & down-

giggling-

falling to her knees-

THE FAIRY EXALTS!!

Oh, the taste of freedom-

The reality of peace-

The sweet smell of rapture-

Her life at last within her reach-
